Florida State University's Office of National Fellowships awarded Aline Wachsmuth with the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Award. She was given a $4000 summer stipend to help her carry out her research and creative opportunities. The funds paid for some of her travel, living expenses, and research materials. In order to apply, she wrote a proposal and a personal statement presenting a plan for the project as well as describe the educational and cultural experiences that have fostered her growth as an individual.
